Le gros jambon is a diner in old Montreal neighborhood. The decor inside is classic and nostalgic with various old style posters. Quite a small lovely place. I haven’t had the chance to try out their regular menu yet. However, their brunch is something I love on a lazy Sunday.
The mushroom toast I tried has mushrooms, eggs and smoke meat underneath.

Deville is one of my new favorite spots and I’m still getting around to taste every single item on the menu, because everything just looks so delicious!
The diner menu is quite diverse. From burgers, to epic meal time style inventions (bacon weaved meat loaf, and bacon wrapped chicken, turkey and duck breast. Oh my…). And the portions are quite big, especially the gigantic salads. I wonder how people finish all that food.
Lunch menu is relatively smaller in portion. The Bento is small bites of various food and it seems to be different everyday.
The price may not seem low at the beginning, but once you’ve seen the size of the dishes and drinks, I think it’s still quite reasonable for the quality and quantity.
